Individual Counselling

Person-Centred counselling provides a caring, supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. You guide the session, and together we’ll work to help you understand why you’re feeling or thinking the way you do. I believe that you already have the answers within you, and my role is to offer unconditional acceptance and empathy, helping you find clarity and strength as you move forward in your journey of healing and personal growth. It’s all about creating a space where you feel truly heard and supported. Sessions last 50 minutes and are available remotely (via video or phone) or in-person, just 2 miles from Durham City, with free parking and easy access to public transport.

Wellbeing for groups & individuals
At Conscious Minds, we will soon be offering a range of healing practices for both individuals and groups, including wellbeing days, events, and one-on-one sessions. Our aim is to support emotional release, enhance overall wellbeing, and help alleviate chronic pain. Our practices will include:

Each practice offers unique benefits—whether it’s calming the mind with meditation, releasing built-up tension through breathwork, improving flexibility and relaxation with Tai Chi, or clearing emotional blockages with EFT. These techniques work together to provide a holistic approach that can be tailored to your needs, helping you feel more balanced, grounded, and at ease in both your body and mind.

Trauma Informed Counselling
So many peoples lives are impacted upon by the effects of trauma, a traumatic experience or experiences can leave you feeling confused, scared and alone, like a shadow of your former self. The objectives of trauma-informed counselling are to address the symptoms and behaviours arising from trauma, while providing individuals with the skills and understanding essential for healing and resilience. You are not alone.
